Bruce Metcalfe is a Nurse Practitioner who has worked in Mental Health for over 30 years as manager and clinician of inpatient and community mental health services both locally and interstate. 

As a Nurse Practitioner, Bruce has worked in a local Community Mental Health Service managing and treating people's mental state, diagnosing mental health conditions, prescribing and de-prescribing and referring people to specialist tertiary services.

He came to plant based therapies as a treatment option for mental health conditions and broadened his practice in this field to incorporate the treatment of physical and chronic health concerns.

At Essence Dispensary, he collaborates with our team to dispense optimal alternative medicines under a prescription, available to collect in person or by express post.
